General Information
Description
- These rotating PTFE nozzles are designed to withstand aggressive chemicals while delivering reliable cleaning performance. They are commonly used in chemical processing, food and beverage production, pharmaceutical vessels, and pulp and paper applications.
- Available spray patterns range from 180° to 360°, allowing either targeted surface coverage or full tank interior cleaning based on application needs.
- Powered by the reaction force of the cleaning fluid, the rotating action supports efficient washing and rinsing. This operating principle makes the nozzles especially suitable for clean-in-place systems where consistent internal coverage is required.
- Manufactured from corrosion-resistant and chemically stable PTFE fluoropolymer resin, both configurations perform best with clean, debris-free liquids and deliver higher surface impact compared to fixed spray balls.
- Part Number: B55000B-3/4-18-TEF

Hydraulic nozzle components are offered in a wide range of inlet sizes, from smaller threaded connections to larger flanged configurations. Inlet size selection is typically based on required flow rate and system design considerations. Larger inlet sizes generally support higher flow capacities, and multiple size options are available to match different applications.
×
Threaded inlet connections are commonly provided using tapered pipe thread standards. NPT and BSPT are the most frequently used thread types. Additional thread options may be available for specific configurations or application requirements.
×
Most models are offered with NPT or BSPT threaded connections. Select versions support additional thread types, as well as flange, quick-connect, or sanitary connections.
×
Defines the operating flow range, typically measured in gallons per minute or liters per minute.
×
Spray and process components are manufactured using materials selected to meet common industrial operating conditions. Standard material options include brass, carbon steel, various stainless steel grades, hardened stainless steels, engineered plastics, and carbide materials. Material choice influences corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, and expected service life. Alternate materials may be available upon request.
×
Indicates the largest internal tank diameter for which a specific rotating cleaning nozzle is designed to operate effectively.
×
Products are typically categorized based on supplied configuration:
- Nozzle Body: Supplied without a spray tip
- Tip: Supplied without a nozzle body
- Assembly: Complete unit including both nozzle body and spray tip
×
Specifies the portion of the vessel interior that is cleaned. Full 360° coverage supports complete internal cleaning, while 180° downward patterns are available for open-top vessels. Additional coverage configurations may also be offered.
×
We offer the “brand” filter as a convenience because many Spraying Systems Co. nozzle brand names are recognized by customers around the world, such as VeeJet® flat spray nozzles and FullJet® full cone nozzles. Most of our nozzle brands are registered trademarks in the United States and in other countries around the world.
×
Indicates the largest internal tank diameter for which a specific rotating cleaning nozzle is designed to operate effectively.
×
Describes acceptable installation orientations within the tank. All models function correctly when mounted vertically downward, with select designs also supporting upward, horizontal, or angled installation.
×
Defines the operating flow range, typically measured in gallons per minute or liters per minute.
The catalog offers flow rates only for selected operating pressures so greater flow may be possible at pressures not shown in the catalog.
