General Information
Description
This rotating nozzle with flat sprays effectively rinses and cleans small tanks and barrels used in food processing and chemical processing.
- Three flat sprays mounted in a rotating spray head are driven by the flow of the cleaning liquid.
- Precisely positioned orifices provide complete coverage of all interior surfaces.
- Constructed for long-wear life using corrosion-resistant materials that tolerate high-temperature operation up to 350°F (177°C).
- Using single-pass or particulate-free cleaning liquid optimizes cleaning performance.
- Spraying Systems Co. Part Number: 21400A-316SS10-316SS
Our Equivalent Part Number: 42800A-316SS10-316SS

Specification Summary
The catalog offers flow rates only for selected operating pressures so greater flow may be possible at pressures not shown in the catalog.
Spray nozzles are manufactured from a wide variety of materials that have been determined to meet the usual requirements of the applications most commonly associated with that type of nozzle. Standard materials include brass, steel, various stainless steels, hardened stainless steels, many plastics and various carbides. Spray nozzles can also be supplied in other materials upon special request. Materials of construction affect nozzle wear life and resistance to corrosion and abrasion.
The largest interior tank diameter (measured in feet or meters) for which a specific Vesseljet nozzle should be used.
Our products are grouped into these primary product types:
- Nozzle - Body (a nozzle body without a spray tip)
- Tip (a spray tip without a nozzle body)
- Assembly (a complete nozzle assembly including both a nozzle body and a spray tip)
Length
Overall length of the part (typically measured in inches or millimeters).
Our products are grouped into these primary product types:
- Nozzle - Body (a nozzle body without a spray tip)
- Tip (a spray tip without a nozzle body)

Spray nozzles are available in many different configurations.

Many hydraulic spray nozzles include a numeric capacity size in the part number. Capacity size is often related to the flow rate of the nozzle at the rated spray pressure for that nozzle. For example, the capacity size for a 1/4HH10 VeeJet® nozzle is “10”, which reflects a 1.0 gpm flow rate at 10 psi.
