General Information
Description
These PTFE rotating nozzles resist harsh chemicals and provide excellent cleaning. They are ideal for chemical processing, food processing, pharmaceutical tanks and pulp and paper.
- With rotation driven by the reactionary force of the cleaning liquid, these rotating nozzles provide excellent cleaning and rinsing and are especially well-suited to clean-in-place (CIP) systems.
- Spray angles range from 180° to 360° and can be used to clean specific areas or the entire tank interior.
- Made of corrosion- and chemical-resistant PTFE fluoropolymer resin, both models offer peak performance when used with debris-free liquid and deliver greater impact than static spray balls.
- The rotating spray heads on 27500-R nozzles can be easily removed from the body for inspection and maintenance.
- ATEX-certified versions available.
- Spraying Systems Co. Part Number: 27500E-1/2-8-TEF
Our Equivalent Part Number:55000E-1/2-8-TEF

Specification Summary
The range of flow (typically measured in gallons per minute or liters per minute) published in our catalog for a given nozzle.
The catalog offers flow rates only for selected operating pressures so greater flow may be possible at pressures not shown in the catalog.
Spray nozzles are manufactured from a wide variety of materials that have been determined to meet the usual requirements of the applications most commonly associated with that type of nozzle. Standard materials include brass, steel, various stainless steels, hardened stainless steels, many plastics and various carbides. Spray nozzles can also be supplied in other materials upon special request. Materials of construction affect nozzle wear life and resistance to corrosion and abrasion.
The largest interior tank diameter (measured in feet or meters) for which a specific TankJet nozzle should be used.
Our products are grouped into these primary product types:
- Nozzle - Body (a nozzle body without a spray tip)
- Tip (a spray tip without a nozzle body)
- Assembly (a complete nozzle assembly including both a nozzle body and a spray tip)
Length
Overall length of the part (typically measured in inches or millimeters).
Our products are grouped into these primary product types:
- Nozzle - Body (a nozzle body without a spray tip)
- Tip (a spray tip without a nozzle body)
- Assembly (a complete nozzle assembly including both a nozzle body and a spray tip)
Spray nozzles are available in many different configurations.

Many hydraulic spray nozzles include a numeric capacity size in the part number. Capacity size is often related to the flow rate of the nozzle at the rated spray pressure for that nozzle. For example, the capacity size for a 1/4HH10 VeeJet® nozzle is “10”, which reflects a 1.0 gpm flow rate at 10 psi.
