Threaded nozzles are typically offered with tapered pipe threads. NPT and BSPT threads are the most common. Other thread types are available for selected nozzles.
×
Standard hydraulic nozzles range in connection size from 1/8” threaded nozzles up to those with 12” flange connections. Larger connection sizes typically have larger flow rates but a wide variety of configurations are available to meet your application needs. ×
Most nozzles are available with NPT or BSPT connections. Other threaded connections are available on select nozzles and additional connection types, such as flange and quick-connect, are also common. Some nozzles are also available with sanitary connections. ×
The range of flow (typically measured in gallons per minute or liters per minute) published in our catalog for a given nozzle.
The catalog offers flow rates only for selected operating pressures so greater flow may be possible at pressures not shown in the catalog.
×
Spray nozzles are manufactured from a wide variety of materials that have been determined to meet the usual requirements of the applications most commonly associated with that type of nozzle. Standard materials include brass, steel, various stainless steels, hardened stainless steels, many plastics and various carbides. Spray nozzles can also be supplied in other materials upon special request. Materials of construction affect nozzle wear life and resistance to corrosion and abrasion.
For more information on nozzle materials, download our technical reference document or contact your local Spraying Systems Co. sales rep.

Our products are grouped into these primary product types:

Equivalent Orifice Diameter
Provided for flat spray nozzles with elliptical orifices. It is the diameter of a circular orifice that would pass the same flow.
×
Length
Overall length of the part (typically measured in inches or millimeters).
×
Spray Coverage refers to the portion of the vessel to be cleaned. TankJet nozzles offering full 360° coverage clean all interior tank surfaces. For vessels with an open top, TankJet nozzles with 180° downward coverage are available. Other coverage patterns are also available.
×
The position in which the tank cleaning nozzle may be inserted into the tank. All TankJet® tank cleaning products operate properly when hanging vertically downward. Some also operate when inserted upward, horizontally or at various angles into the tank.
